This half term in DT, we have been looking at pneumatic systems, in which air is used to make something move. We started off by researching different systems and looked at how they worked. We then made straw rockets before designing our own toy cars which use a pneumatic system to move. In our lesson this week, we used wheels, wooden dowels, cardboard tubes and balloons to make toys cars that move using a pneumatic system. We then tested our cars to see how far they could go!
