This morning Year 3 cooked popcorn on the fire in forest school. We started off by working together to build the fire while learning about the fire triangle. We then melted coconut oil in a pan before adding the popcorn kernels. We had to listen really carefully for the popcorn popping and make sure that we kept shaking the pan to keep it from burning. We then got to try it once it had cooled down – it was delicious!
