This morning in Maths, Year 3 were adding 2, 3 digit numbers with an exchange.
At the start of the lesson, the children worked together in groups to complete a 4 times table game, where they had to correctly line up the 4 times table in order. The children communicated well during the game, talking to each other whilst counting in 4’s.
The children then worked as a class to complete a column addition, using an exchange on the main board.
They then completed questions in their book relating to the lesson, which also included problem solving questions.
