Modern Foreign Languages

Through the study of languages, our children will develop an interest in learning other languages in a way that is enjoyable and stimulating and a tolerance and respect of other people and cultures and be able to communicate in another language. They will make links with their own mother tongue and additional languages. They will have opportunities to embed the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in Italian, laying the foundations for future language learning and gain an understanding of how languages can help us interact with others on a meaningful.
