Year 3 have been given a very important task this week. We were asked to lead the school assembly with the theme being remembrance. We all worked really hard to ensure that our assembly included clarity for everyone to understand our message clearly, and also to show reverence and respect. I am certain that we did this for everyone who was lucky enough to attend.
The whole school was also able to join an online lesson focussed on a solider from WW1 called John Macrae. We were online with schools from all over England and Canada. We learnt some interesting information and also participated in poetry and art activities.
On Friday the entire school came to a stand still at 11.00am on Friday morning. We will remember.
