Reception Class visited the Great North Museum today. We started our day by taking part in a ‘ Dinky Dinos’ workshop. To start the session we listened to a story about a stegosaurus that hatched from an egg. Our next activity was working with the parachute pretending to be dinosaurs. We separated into four groups looking at fossils and finding hidden fossils in the sand by using a brush. The children were qualified palaeontologist by the end of the day. We then enjoyed our lunch and a look around the fantastic museum.
