At the start of todays Music lesson, Stuart told the children that they would be practising singing their Christmas songs in the Music room.
Stuart showed the children how to warm up their voices by first, stretching their head and neck, then singing a counting warm up. They then moved onto starting to practise their first song “Holy Night”. The class was split into two groups where one group sang first, followed by the other group singing a few seconds later. The children then began practising “Carol of the Children”. The children who sing in the choir, as well as a few other children from class, were split into one half of the room to sing part of the song (known as ‘The Harmonisers’) whilst the other children followed. Towards the end of the lesson, we practised singing “Winter Wonderland”.
