In Year 2, the children developed their understanding of ordering two-digit numbers from the smallest to the highest. They learned to look at the tens digit first to help them identify which number was smaller or larger, and then used the ones digit when the tens were the same. The children worked well together in groups, discussing their ideas and cooperating to sequence the numbers correctly. They showed good teamwork and were able to explain how they knew which numbers came before or after others.
