Wow, what a day Tuesday was in school as we participated in our SPRING interhouse sports day. Although the morning started with a blanket of snow and that frost nipped at our feet, the children thoroughly enjoyed the day filled with activity. It was wonderful to see all of our children prepared for the activities which they faced throughout each session.
We saw a vast variety of sports being undertaken across the school from Reception to Year six. Some of these sessions included – Hoopstars, Tennis Triumph, Mile or Marathon, and even the now famous Pirate Cove! Yes our children thrive when they have opportunity to engage in these fun termly sporting days! Take a look at the video below showing only a fraction of what some classes got up to! Next they’ll find out who was nominated for a sporting award in Thursday’s school assembly…Maybe you might get the award in the Summer sports day!
