Today children from Nursery to year 6 have taken part in sports day!
We started the morning by doing lots of fielding events with Mrs Smith on the field. We participated in howler throw, long jump, javelin and even speed bounce!
This afternoon it was our sports day with the whole school. Everyone took part in different track events and we all had so much fun!
Derwent were the winning team this year with a total of 109 points!
A fantastic effort and sportsmanship was shown by all. Well done St Aidan’s!
Thank you to all the children who took part and a big thank you to Mrs Coulson’s sports leaders Logan, Tymon and Theo for helping set up each race making the afternoon run very smoothly!
