This morning in Year 5, the children found out they were going to be writing a non-chronological report in their English lessons over the next couple of weeks. The report will be about rivers; which the children learnt all about last half term. The children were very quick to tell us all of the facts they knew!
In our lesson, the children first took part in a quiz about rivers. They were then told that they needed to prepare to perform a 3 minute presentation. They worked in groups looking back in their Geography books and read other facts in our topic books that are currently on show. The children then shared their presentation with their audience. The children gave each other comments about what they liked about their presentation and what they can work on next time.
